Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer. No head. Dry woody palate. Watery malt. Dry minerals. A trace of fruit. A bit of a mess - just doesn’t hang together.

Half pint served from cask at a fine drinking temperature. Bright, dark brown body, tiny head. Malt-fruity aroma. Caramel malts and resinous hops in flavour promoting a well balanced bitter ending. Well built bitter (Bow Bar, Edinburgh, 27.11.2010).
