The ’65 Roses’ story dates back to 1965 when an observant 4 year old, hearing the name of h is disease for the first time, pronounced Cystic Fibrosis as 65 Roses. Today, ’65 Roses’ is a term often used by young children to pronounce the name of their disease. Three Notch’d has partnered with Devil’s Backbone and Starr Hill to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis. This blonde ale is brewed with rose hips, which give this light, fruit forward beer some floral notes.

Keg at the brewery, 5/20/16. Hazy pink, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of floral notes, plum, pale malt. The taste matches with a bit of hoppiness. Thin-medium bodied, low carbonation.
