Crisp bright and clear copper coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades fairly slowly. Aroma of bright citrus, a tiny bit of tropical fruits and some resin, but no passionfruit notes nor anything tart or sour, but there is a good deal of caramel and malt notes as well. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malts show at first actually and bring out some sweetness of toffee and caramelised sugars with some apricot notes as well, but the hops hit towards the end with grapefruit peel and a touch of alpha acids, but not too much bitterness here. Aftertaste is rich, balanced and more malty and caramely than hoppy, especially with any tropical fruit notes - there is a dry grassiness from the hops, and that's about it. Overall, still great to sample of course, and perhaps not showing as much characteristics as if it were super fresh (although my other crowler did for Thanksgiving, a month ago), but nice to be able to have gotten this fresh and sampled with my family (all from Michigan) at Christmastime! I sampled this 32 ounce crowler, purchased from the brewery itself in Traverse City, Michigan on 04-August-2021 for US$8,00 ($24 for three beers), canned on 23-July-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on Christmas Day, 25-December-2021.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy pale orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
