12 ounce bottle from Downer Wine & Spirits. Clear dark amber, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, hay, earth. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, earth, a bit of cherry. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Tap. Pours clear Amber, large beige head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is grain, toasted malt, hints of floral, grass. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Melon body, lingering bitterness and a metallic tinge.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma sweet grains, biscuit and graham cracker with bread supporting. Flavor is quite bready with don’t graham cracker and sweet grains supporting.
