The 8th Redhill Beer Festival 2 Nov 12. Ultradyprød / svart. Ikke skum. God kaffearoma. Smaken litt søt lakris. Blir tørr etter hvert. Bra innhold i forhold til styrken.

Gravicask, half, shared with Finn. Missing head to an opaque, dark-brown coloured body. Malty nose with hints of dark fruits. Chocolate malts in the flavour offset by fruity notes. Faint roasted bitter ending. Ok, easy going (Redhill Beer Festival, 02.11.2012).

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, 20/4/08. Near black with next to no head. Aroma of weak coffee, red fruit and some caramel. Mouth feel was surprisingly watery with some vague roastiness and a short & sweet finish. Subdued all round.
