Keg at the brewery. Black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, oats, lactose. Taste is caramel, lactose, roast, bitter hops. Medium bodied,a bit off balance. Solid.

Tap at cville brewery. Pours black with a dusting of a beige head. Artisan isn’t oatmeal, sweet chocolates. Flavor is burnt oat, char, ash, dark chocolate, coffee grounds. Meh.
