Cask at GBBF 2010. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of soy sauce, chocolate, and fruits in madeira. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, wood, and fruit as well as lighter notes of madeira, leading to a dry, woody, roasted, and chocolaty finish.

From cask. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is rather fruity, berries and dark malt. Fruity flavoured, subdued acidic and dark roasted malt. Lingering fruity and vague bitter finish.

Cask handpull from volunteer arms at GBBF 2010. Black, lasting tan head. It’s got some terrific lasting bitter dark choc, Bournville choc with some Turkish Delight fruit. It’s lovely.
