C&C 375 mL bottle from Beer Run. 2017 bottle opened 9/19/19. Dark reddish brown, large fizzy tan head, head quickly fades to a ring. Aroma of oak, char, jammy cherries, chocolate, vegetal notes. Taste is funk, lemon, oak, cherry, a bit of brown sugar and dandelion. Medium bodied, near flat, bright, strong lingering tartness. Dry overall. Very nice beer. Oh, by the way, rating #16,000!

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. The beer is a dark reddish-brown color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Aroma of oak, tart fruit and yeast. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, oak, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a cherry aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around.
