Lithia was our first true New England style IPA and thus a beginning of our beer culture.
Myth of Lithia has been a part of our mythological culture from the outset. A story that is tied to historical happenings in a time when Basic City Va was existed-1890's.
The story of a young woman breaking away from polite society; away from her etiquette "finishing" school (that was located in Basic City) to late-night skinny-dip in the "healing waters" of Lithia Spring (also located in Basic City).
The Myth of LIthia is still strong; as is the Basic City Beer Co culture, after 4 years.
Fount DIPA is the beginning of a series that will continue throughout the year in our BIG DIPA category.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 1/25/21. Hazy orange, large head, good retention. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, mango, pale malt. Taste is mango, papaya, pineapple, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Tasty.

4.65 pint can, WW. Murky orange with a soft yellowish head. Peach, juicy orange, pineapple, green hops in the nose. Flavor is juicy stone fruit, pineapple, orange peel, melon, green leaf, mango, pine. Juicy, good.
