Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 10/21/20.Hazy orange large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, toasted grain. Taste is orange, tangerine, plum, pale malt. Medium bodied, low bitterness, juicy. Cool label.

Crystal clear orange, light amber, bronze and a very thin off-white head on top. Aroma of grass, hay citrus and a dash of resin with some alcohol and light stone fruits noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong dry malts dominate at first with a light earthy note, but a lot of alcohol and floral hop flavours with a nice citrus sweetness and funky profile that gives a lot of complexity and depth with a fairly easy-to-drink profile. Aftertaste shows the dryness and bitterness from the citrus, perfume and grassy flavours the strongest, with some leftover sweetness, but ultimately a hop-forward and bitter finish. Overall, a nice and deep IPA with a lot of dry, floral and grassy character with some of the great citrus and stone fruit flavours and sweetness. Good to sample and a respectable IPA from the East Coast! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-January-2018 for US$2,88 sampled at home in Washington and coming back to Washington.
