A wild imagination spawned the idea of our latest brew, Brain Candy Toffee Honey Chocolate Porter. While the name is a mouthful, just wait until you taste the subtle hints of flavor that derive from a fusion of malts and all-natural cocoa. This is the brew for deep thinkers and air heads alike. Who woulda thought?

12 ounce can thanks to herhiser2! 10/16/20. Very dark brown, thin foamy tan head, poor retention. Aroma of toast, roast, honey. nuts. Taste is honey, nuts, sunflower, roast. Medium bodied. On the sweet side but enough roast to balance. Unique, nice. Very granola.

Roast and some cash free. Toffee and honey are light like bees carried here. Some dark chocolate. Bitter and light tangy finish. Tap at Fire Works.

Tar and new plastic nose. Mahogany, thin tan head. Charred oak, new plastic, plum, permanent marker. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Very chemical, but curiously in some pleasant ways. Quaffable and nearly huffable.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice thick, two to three centimetre light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, light toffee and caramelised sugars with a ton of nuttiness and even a light dose of coffee and vanilla pods as well. Light-bodied; Dry earthy malts show up at first with a very nutty profile that shows some light sugars and a healthy hand of brown and caramelised sugars along with a dry coffee and lactose/milk/cream component. Aftertaste is dry, but very balanced with some sweetness, a kick from nuts and a light, but noticeable sweetness from the caramelised sugars and toffee flavours - very nice throughout. Overall, a very nice beer that shows a bunch of flavours in an easy-to-drink package with a lot of nutty and cream/lactose components throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-January-2020 for US$1,86 sampled at my house on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Pungoteague, Virginia on 14-February-2020, Valentine's Day.
