On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A dark copper to brown beer topped by a big, dense, light beige head. Clear. Lots of uncooked bacon on the nose, some roasted malts too, and caramel. Roasted, bacon-ish flavor with some dried fruits and a little caramel, bitterness chiming in towards the end. Supersmooth and full-bodied on the palate. A bit intense on the nose this one, but flavor wise it’s really nice. 110526

Draught, KØ11. Difficult to taste after the Dresden 45, but actually has a little coconut. Milder and not too much.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011: Pours a deep deep ruby body with a medium, tanned creamy head. Aroma is definitely smoke and coconut dominated with a thin note of malts and light caramel. Softly carbonated and has a smooth and oily mouthfeeling. Flavors are nice and sweet without being too sweet. Light caramel sweetness, hints of cold coffee and it ends in a light and mild licorice finish. A nice and original brew.
