“We’re thrilled to release a fresh, modern IPA in time for the crisp autumn season,” said Nate Williams, Carolina Brewery’s Brewmaster. “This beer highlights the best of Carolina Brewery—clean reverse osmosis water, a new hop strain, and our passion for good beer. I look forward to sharing six-packs with my friends around a crackling campfire!”
Stargazer IPA is perfectly suited for pairing with the flavors of fall. The bright tropical notes and balanced bitterness pair effortlessly with Carolina Brewery’s pub menu. Spicy dishes like the Chicken Burrito Bowl or hearty, savory fare like the Bison Burger are the ideal complements to the beer’s flavor profile. For shared plates, the Potato Chip Nachos washed down with a pitcher of Stargazer IPA is a must-try.
The beer’s name, Stargazer, is inspired by those peaceful moments spent outdoors under the stars as the seasons change. “We wanted to create a beer that reflects the beauty of fall evenings—clear, crisp, and perfect for enjoying with friends around a fire,” said Nate Williams.

A: Clear gold with a small, quick head. Little to no lace.
S: Melon, citrus, honey and a whiff of alcohol.
T: Bitter woody and citrus pith notes. Some pine resin joins and lingers.
M: Crisp carbonation, light body and a quick clean finish.
O: Nothing special but balanced, easy drinking and pretty good overall.

Can at daughter's place in Cary. Courtesy of the son in law. Green pine cone sap nose. Typical IPA in flavor with a tad more astringent bite, nasty bitter. Rude rusty aftertaste. So be it. Nasty nellie, macro lager lovers may be revolted. Not as mouth coating as most IPA. There, you have it.
