330 ml can from Clapton Craft NW5, London, bb Jun 17.
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of peanut, dark chocolate, some liquorice, slight coffee, some wild berries, some citrus.
Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, roasted nuts, hops more in the background, with grapefruit, orange, grass, subtle berries.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium bitter, zesty, piney, a bit wooden, with coffee, liquorice, some citrus.
Very nice. More Stout than IPA, with the hops in the background. Lovely, characterful nose, with very interesting peanut notes. Taste is quite straight roasty, with hoppy notes, not that special, but also nice. Overall enjoyable stuff, while not among my favourite BIPAs from England.

0,33l can at Saeglopurs place shared by him, big thanks for this one. BB 06/2017. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells earthy, licorice, spices, some lactose, light peanuts, nice smell, missing the hops a bit though. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes peppery, spices, lightly leathery, vanilla, licorice, earthy notes, bit nutty, hazelnuts, light peanuts, hints of milk chocolate. finishes rather smooth and lightly bitter with notes earthy notes, light vanilla and some peanuts. good one but lacks a bit in the hops department. enjoyable beer.

Can at home, 23rd October 16. Pours a black, good looking beer. Aroma is citrus, cocoa, liquorice, pine. Taste is citrus and pine, dusty cocoa powder, chocolate, good bitterness, orange pith. Fantastic BIPA.

Can. Clear dark brown with a a large beige head.3+ Aroma of mocha, roasted malt, toffee, pine. More chocolate than coffee.Smooth, milky. Almost an iced coffee made with condensed milk feel to it, but the sweetness is not too much. More pine than fruity hops. Dries out a bit with firm bitterness. Harmonious.

Cannette de 33cl, merci Pierre. Brune voire ambrée, col épais et crémeux café au lait. Arôme au nez Cascadian, pas mal d’effluves houblonnées, verts, agrumes, frais, rétro malté caramel et fin chocolaté restant assez orienté grains. Palais est léger, malté, agrumes, caramel et grillé, râpeux et finemetn terreux niveau levure et possible ajout seigle?. Agrumes sur la fin avec un caractère côté ouest mettant bine le profil houblons en avant, let tout sur une belle balance des malts.

Can at the brewery 18/08/2011. Near black with a hint of red and decent, off-white head. Aroma of pine needles, coffee and floral hops. Flavour had some solid fruity malts, more pine, citrus and a long, toasty finish. Very good.
