Pint can thanks to hershiser2! New brewery! Virginia brewery #153. USA # 1669. Brewery # 2067. Murky orange, medium white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, mango. Taste is pine, mango, toast, grapefruit. Juicy, mild bitterness. A bit amateurish. Not bad.

$3.86 pint can, TWSP. Hazy golden with some floaties and a soft off-white head. Peach, mango, tangerine nose, which is somewhat faint. Mango, tangerine peel, ruby grapefruit, malt, late pine. Decent, missing something to make it really good.

Pretty nicely done. Mango and rich tangerine. Some fresh grapefruit. Golden pour with ok lacing, not much head. Hop tang and a touch of bitterness. Tap at brewery.

Crisp and clear deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades very quickly and leaves just a tiny layer on top. Aroma of citrus, yeast, light resin, a dose of good malt and a minor amount of caster sugar with some fructose tucked in - quite nice, albeit a bit light in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong very citrusey and especially orange-y flavours dominate with a lot of melons, mangoes, pears and a heavy dose of resinous hops with a lot of alpha acids towards the end with some sweetness from the fruit as well. Aftertaste shows the grassy and herbal notes towards the back of the palate, but the front is still the super resinous, lightly piney and especially fruity hops with the oranges and even some curacao tucking around the corner, this is very fruity and citrusey in a great way, but the balance is exquisite as well. Overall, a very nice and especially balanced beer that hits all the flavour profiles nicely, but is a touch mild in the nose and way too clear (although not bad at all, it just doesn't work for the style) body are the only downfalls here, but of course the positives far outweigh the negatives. Great to sample if you can find this one, of course, and would be a regular beer for me if I lived down on the Shore, full-time! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Newport News, Virginia on 17-November-2019 for US$4,99 sampled at home, back up in Washington on 22-March-2020, not down near Cape Charles in Pungoteague, Virginia.
