At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth and medium sweet flavour, not cloying, notes of mild coffee again. Quite drinkable and decent.

Draught at Ølfestival København 2011. Near black, persistant head. Perfumy nose with unexpected notes of broccoli. Sweet and medium bodied, soft and creamy. Chocolate and grains are there. Salty finish with notes of paper.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted dark caramelish to breadish. Sweet and caramelish flavoured. Bitter, slight fruity and toasted to toffee caramelish. Bitter and dark roasted malt finish.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, light roasted malt, dark rye bread, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, dark rye bread, roasted malt, and wood, leading to a dry, roasted, and bitter finish.

clear dark brown, smooth light brown head. roasted stuff, smoked notes, dry aroma. flavor is roasted grains, charchoal. hard roasted stout.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a small beige head. Heavy roast in the nose with a whiff of both licorice and smoke. Solid body, heavily roasted with a little underlying sweetness. Heavy roast finish and again this smoky touch. Quite some hoppiness too. 230511

Bottle 500ml.[ Trade by saxo ]. Clear dark brown red colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet chocolate, tobac, peat, milk - lacto notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light light bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110518]

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, May 2011. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Ashy roast and chocolate. Sweet and smooth. Pretty good!
