(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Pikkulintu, 20130112) The beer poured oily black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had roasted malts, creaminess, chocolate and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, sweet chocolate, roasted malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. I don’t like sweet chocolate therefore this beer was more off-putting than had the beer had other flavour profile

In bocca non è perfettamente bilanciata, risulta stucchevole già dai primi sorsi. Fastidiosamente dolciastra, e dalla consistenza oleosa. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Deludente.

Big brown head. Nearly opaque black body goes deep dark red at edges. Earthy chocolate aroma with sooty notes. Dry-sweet chocolatey earth taste with burnt milky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry deep chocolate aftertaste with earthy sooty honey and butter notes. Clear, vivid, and deep. Excellent harmony. Lovely, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

Bottle. It pours a dark brown to black body and a small, firm head. Roasted maltyness on the nose, with coffee and chocolate. A bit weak, but quite nice. That goes for the flavor too, I’d like it more pronounced. Roasted and coffee-like, chocolate too, and some roasted-like bitterness. Semi-sweet on the palate, medium to full body. Lasting, roasted finish. A nice beer indeed, but I’d like it more pronounced all the way. 110708
