Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, malt, dark chocolate and lactose. Sweet flavour of chocolate, lactose and caramel malt, with roasty and coffeelike notes. Sweetish and sourish aftertaste. Good.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Kullsort med et høyt mokkafarget tett skum som daler ganske fort. God aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken en eksplosjon. Topp fylde og herlige innslag av lakris, kaffe og sjokolade. Ettersmak av tørr kaffe. Den er til og med tilsatt lyd! Masse brus fra skummet når det omdannes.

Clear, very dark brown. Tan head. Roasted aroma, milk chocolate. Flavour is similar, soft and mellow. Low bitterness, well balanced. Sticky finish, nice.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Trodheim, June 2014. Black with a large tan head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, toffee, some fruit and roasted malt. The body was light. The finish was slightly sour. Drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle @ DØE tasting. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, sweet milk chocolat. Flavor is malts, coffee, vanilla, mik chocolate. Medium body, soft carbonation, roasted and light sweet finish. 150114

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a black colour with a creamy light brown medium head. Aroma of rich Belgian chocolate, nuts, cinnamon stick, melted caramel, brown sugar, and feels like a proper Irish coffee. Dark chocolate in the taste with butterscotch, leather, wood, nuts and coffee. Silky and smooth mouthfeel, and has a light bitterness. Throughout a deilicous chocolate coffee ale. Balanced and wonderful.

Aroma is sourish with berries, milk chocolate and toffee typical to English ales. Flavour is somewhat tart and sour with fruitiness, roasted notes, toffee, licorice and milk chocolate. Dry finish with hints of coffee. Slightly artifical feeling here with all the chocolate.

Bottle 0.5l from Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Colour is almost black with small brown head. Aromas and flavours are chocolate, sweetness and roasted malts. Quite dry and somehow sour.
