A pale barley malt, wheat and bohemian hops makes this a delicate and refreshing fruity beer with a sweet finish.

Cask @ Jubilee Refreshment Rooms, Sowerby Bridge. A clear, paler golden ale with a very thin head. Has a slightly bushy-floral taste with a more sugary-sweet aroma. There’s some sugar in its aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a thin head that falls away quickly. Nose - struck match and oranges. Some malt in the background. Taste - burnt oranges, dry malt in the background. Palate - light to medium bodied, with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent enough. A reason to have another, I’d say!

There are 37 beers currently on Ratebeer with the name Blonde bombshell, and I’ll bet they all have the same kind of cartoonish buxom wench on the label/pumpclip. Would it be too much to ask for brewers to move away from tedious sexist stereotyping? Anyway, beer is pale yellow, no head. Lemon, biscuit. Light sweet finish. Not much going on.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/1/2014. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a decent, frothy white head. Stone fruits, a slight yeastiness, sweet malts and a gentle finish. Ok.

Cask at the Stag & Hounds, Binfield. Pale straw with a thin white head; lacklustre malty aroma; sticky sweet malt flavours with some orchard fruit; and a weak, watery, finish. Very disappointing.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of flowery hops, leading to an OK bitter finish.
