Downwinder is a daringly unique gose-style brew. It has a sharp, tart finish and subtle saltiness with impeccably balanced notes of coriander and lime leaf. Natural effervescence brightens the palate and brings balance to the soft wheat body. Light, sharp and wonderfully crisp, it’s exceedingly refreshing and curiously tasty.

12oz can, poured a hazy yellow color with a fluffy, white head. Aroma was big lemon, sea salt. Flavor was tart, lemon slices, with a decent amount of briny character and coriander.

Can from 604. Goblet @home. Lingering white-wash head, slightly jellied pale gold body. Dust, watery non-descript phenols, saline, very empty nose. Taste is refreshing lemon mineral water, frothy/wheaty, lime, cucumber, low sugar aqua fresca, fucking confusing. Lacks so much. Infused water-bottle level of watery-ness. Pass.

Light, salty, and lime. Had to behave, so no booze as of yet. Picking up The Ghost, as my brother is in 🇯🇵for a month. His gf is away until the twelfth, so on Ghost duty.

Pours slightly hazed straw into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Grapefruit and lemon aromas. Medium bodied with tart lemon and lime upfront turning to mild salty meringue in the medium length finish. Nice - perfect style for an N/A beer...
