(33cl swing top bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy, orange colour with a thick and dense, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet, yeasty and fruity (citrus, peach) nose with wheaty and hoeneyish malty notes and a distinctive touch of Muscat. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Wheaty, bready malty and moderately fruity (citrus, peach) taste; fruity and wheaty, slightly sourish finish with a touch of honey in the aftertaste (18.X.08).

(swing top bottle) Extremely cloudy, murky orange colour with a thick and light-beige foamy head. Yeasty, sweet malty nose with distinctive fruity notes of orange, pears and citrus. Light-sweet and sourish flavour, medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Slim malty base, yeasty and slightly fruity taste; slightly sweet and sourish finish with shy phenolic spice. Not my cup of tea (21.05.08).

Bügelverschlußflasche (von MANUFAKTUM): Hazy, orangey coloured, quite stable off-white head; orangey-fruity nose with some wheaty-grainy (pardon emmer-grainy) traces; light sweetish-sourish flavour; almost watery sweetish-sourish finish. Organic, but very boring..........

Bottle. Light sour white-bread aroma. Cloudy orange, creamy off-white head. Peach and banana note on edgy, light bitter wheat, a unusual spicyness which just about makes it interresting and stand out from a regular Hefeweizen. Medium boudy, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste.
