Bottle. Light golden/orange body. Large, frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, orange, caramel, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning oily, moderate carbonation. Taste of pine and grapefruit. Average ipa.

(341ml bottle from LCBO) Poured a clear yellow-gold with a mid-size bubbly head, moderate retention, lace. Aroma is mild grapefruit, earthy, herbal, something which when prompted I realise was green garlic, some pale malt, a bit disappointing. Flavour follows the nose, bit of citrus hops and some earthy pine, not very resinous, that herb and garlic character again and then lots of grainy pale malt on the back without much hop bitterness to overpower it. Finishes off-dry and malty with a slight bitterness. Mouthfeel medium-light, oily, moderate carb. Kind of muddled, not quite off flavours but not very harmonious either, not sure I like the yeast or the amount of grainy character. It is not a bad IPA, but not up my alley, and apparently might be inconsistent?

A lot of different hops going on here. I recognize a grapefruit variety that’s super prominent. Nice almost meaty aroma. Good stuff. Finishes bitter. Nice complex palate, but I feel like four hops varieties is too much of a party. Pours golden with good head and some lacing. On tap at brewery.

Bottle - Flowery hop aroma with a little caramel and spice. Clear gold with minimal quick dissipating head. Tastes just like it smells, with a nice bitterness that lingers. A great local Canadian beer.

Bottle, pours a hazy dark copper with a small white head. Medium hops aroma, with caramel malt. Flavour is more balanced for an IPA. Pretty good. Phillips' other two IPAs are superior.
