hmm......most of the other ratings are saying it pours a hazy amber.......mine is quite clear, and yellow. anyways......nice head, great lacing on my glass. Nose is a little thin on the hops, they are there, but not as pronounced as i like in an IPA. Nice carbonation, and here we go, the hops are present in the flavour. Nice citrus notes, and a good amount if bittering in the finish. Not too shabby! A very good everyday solid IPA.

Can. Just hazy amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of grapefruit, bread crust, gentle fresh cut pine. Medium bodied. Resin, some citrus, bread crust - guess I would have preferred just a little cleaner but it's characterful and engaging. Brief, decisive bitter end.

Tap at Beer Republic, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grassy, light pine needle, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry malt, light fruity, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

355ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy and caramel malty aroma, notes of lemon, orange, hints of grapefruit. Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, a touch of lime, hints of grapefruit and orange, slightly too weak caramel malty backbone. Flawless yet unspectacular West Coast IPA.

Has a good foamy head and clear copper body. Aroma is malty hops, some sharpness and sweetness in the equation. Flavour is meaty malts with a good hop kick. Good balance and nice prominent flavour, good dry finish. Phillips does it again and delivers an IPA with a good malt punch.

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale golden colour with a medium, frothy, off-white head that laces. Hoppy, citrus aroma with grass. Sweet flavour of citrus fruit, malt and pine with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy pale orange with a tight white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong pine with citrus, grass and toffee. Light sweet start with a big grapefruit bitterness to follow. Medium slick mouth with a long crisp dry finish. Excellent.

Originally rated March 2013. Nice to see the LCBO getting some West Coast IPAs (as this one and the one I tried last night from Green Flash). Pours a rich golden colour with a foamy-creamy head that has good retention and decent lacing. Nice fresh grassy hop aromas, but not just Cascades (as I do not get much grapefruit and the pine is mild). Mixed with other hops. After a while, the scent changes. Fruitier and sweeter, with caramel (and something else odd). For the taste, I am getting something weird. I am thinking it is the other malts with the Cascades that don’t mix well. On the vegetable side. Thankfully, some light bitterness shows up in the finish to take over. Not really a fan of this one (preferred the Green Flash IPA).

Bottle from Asahiya, a cloudy honey gold. Hoppy nose with a pine cone aroma. It is medium bodied, with a minty pine & malty caramel taste, good stuff
