Centennial [sen-ten-ee-uh l] : -Hop; mid-season maturing bittering variety with excellent bittering characteristics. Crisp citrus flavours and full citrus floral aromas. Alpha acids 9.5 - 11.5% At one time, almost destroyed due to lack of interest from major brewers. Very favourable for craft brews and IPA’s. The only hop used in this beer.

A hazed amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice sweet biscuit malt with fruity notes, and good floral hops, a bit earthy and musty. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with nice resinous floral hops, a bit short in mouth, but nice.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver; the Hopbox
Blond color; small head. The aroma is somehow stale, with a whiff of paper, grass, sugar and vegetables. The flavor is very ordinary; the bitterness is high, but the hop qualities are quite hidden. Long final.
Quite boring. Tasted side-to-side with the Krypton Rye PA, this is more Pale Ale and the other one more India Pale Ale.

Sampled at Brewery Creek, pours golden. Aroma and flavour are fairly standard west coast-style IPA, with citrusy hops, a simple body with a puckering hop finish. Solid.
