Keg at the downtown brewpub, 11/2/23. Black, medium tan head, average retention. Aroma of roast, maple, vanilla, chocolate, rye, cherry, dry orange. Taste is roast, chocolate, rye, caramel, cherry. Full bodied, mild booze. Too sweet.

On tap @Explorium downtown with the wife's friends. 5oz pour. Black on brown, very frothy. Maple & tea nose. Sweet. Sugary, maple sweet, burnt sugar flavor & texture. Faint smoke. Incredibly heavy, sloppy & too sweet, but so what. Delicious.
