The first rendition of Apparition was crafted back when we were all still brewing in converted 10 gallon mash tun cooler, first dubbed Mosalaxy. A light grain bill is fed with ample dosings of Galaxy and Mosaic in the whirlpool and dry hop. We are getting huge tropical aromas followed by notes of ripe melon, pineapple, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Can (7/14/25) from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Cloudy, milky yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, ample head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong melon, citrus, malt. Taste is strong malt, mild orange, stone fruits. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste with yeasty, light bitterness.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Aroma is citrus hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is citrus hops.

Pint can from Total Wine Appleton, 9/29/24. Hazy yellow, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of melon, dank. Kinda bland. Taste is grapefruit, melon, dank, resin. Well balanced. Thin.

Can, from the brewery. Pours hazy dark yellow with a foamy off-white head, citrus peel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-unripe mango taste, thin body, long citrusy finish. Well flavored.
