A decadent collaboration with Woodblock Chocolate. This imperial stout spends 10 months slumbering in bourbon barrels, infusing with warming vanilla and toasted oak. We then incorporated a special blend of Woodblock's roasted cacao nibs, unlocking rich layers of chocolate, dark fruit, and a touch of char. Expect aromas of intense cocoa, caramel, and chocolate-covered berries, leading into flavors of ganache, ripe cherries, and silky red velvet cake.
Tasting Notes
Midnight black topped with a dense, creamy, and chocolate mousse foam. Rich aromas of intense cocoa, caramel, toasted oak, and chocolate covered berries. Decadent flavors of ganache, ripe cherries, red velvet cake with a hint of char and a touch of bourbon. Finishes with a long kiss of chocolate truffle and a mouth coating richness.

Bottle pour, capped, picked up at Tapped, Mill Creek. Really fun addition to the wide variety of styles from these guys. Dense near black in color. Bold dark chocolate notes throughout, with subtle barrel, and even more so with some coffee. Smooth imperial. Chocolate to the point where this is nowhere near dessert, but enough to capture it as the headlining flavor profile. Very nice one here.
