Bottle at home. Massive gusher, as warned. Murky brown with big beige head. Yeasty, sour red currants, blackberries, cassis, earthy, dry oak, some vanilla, alcohol, caramel, balsamico. Medium sour, light bitter and sweet. Full bodied. More a strong sour ale, and the alcol.is a bit hidden. Tasty stuff.

12 April 2025. At LOC Brewery, Tilburg. Cheers to mom, dad & Anke!
Red grape, raisin, redcurrant, gingerbread, pink grapefruit, liqueur. Sweetish raisin & fig, sour grape, berries & nectarine; biscuity & jam-like maltiness. Earthy hops, bitter pink grapefruit, warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Blends all the aspects well, great!

Pours a murky brown body and a dense off white head with good retention. Aroma's: sourish, caramel, toasted bread. Retronasal: sour, light sweet, woody. Flavour is moderate sour with a hint of sweet. Medium bodied. Sourness at first, then finishing light moderate bitter. Very nice.

Clear brown appearance with lasting head. Intense mega funky yeast. Funky sharpness and woody dryness.

Whoa, Nellie! It's in Dutch but I should've figured out that the sticker says "be careful opening"! The two glasses are not for sharing, the second is for catching the rest of the beer that was gushing out. I don't usually chug barleywine but it's better
