Cask, handpull at the Malt and Hops?, Edinburgh, with Craig, Jan, Charlotte & Loz, 29.10.10 Pours as black as a grimping mire, there is a creamy textured beige head atop. A little bitterer than expected with a bit of sweetness, nicely roasty. Quite good. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 29/04/10. Black in colour with a slight tan head. Sweet, caramel aroma with a herbal edge. Flavour of caramel and chocolate with a sweetish finish. OK.
