From wooden cask at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 24.01.20. Clear dark golden. Some white head. Fine taste of sweet pale malt, crystal malt, biscuit and moderate hops. A very drinkable bitter!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/7/2019. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Chewy malts, a touch of leafy hop, leading to a lingering, bitter, finish. Fine.

Bottle, gift from Mum & Dad - cheers! Golden-amber with a vanishing white head and a slightly annoying fizz. Orange and lemon up front, a little caramel then it all goes a bit insipid before a granite finish with a chalky mouthfeel. A rather forgettable and sub-standard bitter.

Cask at Eastbourne Beer Festival. This beer absolutely stank of sulphur (fart). Very unpleasant. But then the taste was fine.

Cask at the Shakespeare, Lower Temple St, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light hop, some yeast notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody hop, grainy malt, dry creamy medicinal yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
