Bottle, Spar, Lochcarron. A new berry on me the rowan. Dark amber pour with a fading off-white head. Sweetish nose of berry fruit and malts and a similar yarn flavour-wise. A little tartness present. A drinkable if rather lacklustre offering.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, strawberry, berry sweet, light roasted and caramel malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berry sweet tart. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110102]

blue blazer ... copper ... creamy off white head ... soft creamy fruit nose... soft body little tart almost but not quite sour fruit ... quite crisp and clean ... with a light malt backbone ...
