Cask at ITFC Fanzone before yet another, but expected devastating defeat, with plenty more to come. At least I get to sample some of the guest ales beforehand. Every cloud and all that. Anyway, aroma of caramel, malts, toffee and a bit of biscuit. Smooth but not blown away by the taste. A decent bitter.

Had it as London Glory to celebrate the cup win. Clear amber pour with a small white head. Aromas of malt/bread, some (citrus) fruit and caramel. Taste added some herbs. Overall not bad.

(„London Glory“) Cask @ Silver Cross, London. Clear mahagony/amber with a small white head. Aroma of toffee, tea and mild citrus fruits. Taste of malts, toffee, citrus fruits and some herbs. Low to moderate bitterness. Low carbonation. Nice and easy.

Cask: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of caramel and nutty flavors. Taste is a mix of caramel malt flavors with some dry floral hops notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well made bitter that drinks quite well.

Cask at Black Prince, New Haw. Aroma is sweet and malty with a slight berry sourness. Clear dark amber. Frothy blotchy off-white head. Malt to the fore here. It really leads the way. Doughy and sweet. Bitter grainy edge. A touch of sourness. Light. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Nice enough. Certainly sessionable.

Cask at Three Magpies. Dark amber with a small beige foamy head. Light caramel malty aroma. Taste is brown bread, mildly sweet, light brown sugar. Seems thin for a cask, but pretty tasty.

Cask at Allsop Arms. Amber coloured with small white head. Aroma is yeasty and malty. Slightly floral. Quite smooth in the mouth and with a very slight bitterness. Tastes quite like a De Konninck, but not as special. Slight herbal element.

From cask as Greene King London Glory at Shakespear outside Victoria Station, London, 25.08.19 while waiting for the train to Eastbourne. Light copper with a glowing orange undertone. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, nuts and caramel. Slightly fruity. Very quaffable.
