High acidity, good tea flavor. Would maybe like it a bit better if it wasn’t a kettle sour.

Aroma of blackberries with lactic elements. Taste has lightly sour notes with some fruitiness. Palate has distinct tea notes, very muted lactic element that pairs well. Quite good.

Amber with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. Sour and dry with an orange note. Long finish. Medium body.

Pretty hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying pure white head, only a single centimetre at start and nothing after a few seconds. Aroma of very beautiful brewed earl grey tea notes with some bergamot and light lavender of course, but the lemons and sour notes hit hard in the nose right afterwards, with some funky, cat pee and saison smells right afterwards, perhaps from the yeast, with some bread noticeable as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice soured lemon and white grape flavours at first with a light acidity and some candy here as well, but the earl grey notes get stronger as this goes on, but more of a tea leaf and unsteeped flavour coming from this rather than tea. Aftertaste shows a great balance, somehow and someway of the tart and soured lemon notes with a good complexity coming from the earl grey tea leaves with the bergamot and lavender the strongest, but the malt behind is nice and supportive without being strong at all. Overall, a very nice beer that has a ton of complexity, is a bit tart throughout, but shows excellent balance and is drinkable with a nice range of flavours, at least for this earl grey lover. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from King's Contrivance Liqour Store (such a stupid name) in Columbia, Maryland on 25-October-2022 for US$4,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on Beer (and Day #12) of my 2022 (self-created) advent calendar, halfway between the start of the month and Christmas itself!
