At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, opaque extremely dark brown color, aroma of dark bread and coffee, hints of soy and mushrooms, smokey charred flavor wuth some mushrooms and chocolate behind, light hoppy shrubby bitterness coming through. Nice mellow and quite subdued.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Lior D. Black. Licorice, roast, lots of stale piney hops, some alcohol, sweetish, bitter finish, quite full-bodied. Nice.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2017-2 thanks to Vami] @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, dark malts. Don’t get much more. Taste malts, dark malts, malt bitter, a roastyness that’s quite harsh and unpleasant. Body is fairly thin, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Aroma is mostly hoppy, resin, also some dark chocolate. High bitterness. Ful body. Too much dominated by hops.

Barwa niemal czarna, piana beżowa, umiarkowanie obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie ciemna czekolada, nieco kawy, paloności, na drugim planie mocno schowane, przykryte nuty chmielowe, cytrusowe. W smaku dość słodkie, wyraźna czekolada, gorzka i deserowa, paloność, trochę nut ciemnego pieczywa, kontra od chmielu, nieprzesadzona, dominują tu nuty słodowe. Goryczka średniowysoka, przyjemna, alkohol nieźle ukryty, nieco grzeje, wysycenie niskie, niezła treść. Bardzo solidny RIS, niczego nie urywa, ale jest jak najbardziej stylowy. Godny Polecenia.
