This complex, subtle and elegant saison is a veritable orgy of flavor. A truly ferment-driven beer with a rich blend of fruity esters and spicy phenols, you’d be forgiven for wanting more than one. In fact, you’d be surprised to learn how many people aren’t satisfied with only just one.

Can (1/5/25) from the brewery. Hazy gold, no sparkle, thin head with trace lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, lightly funky, light bubblegum, ginger-ale quality. Taste is strong bubblegum, wheat--more reminiscent of a Hefeweizen. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A little something here for everyone but not totally attractive to me.

16 oz can. Aroma is bubblegum, clove, and maybe some wheat. Flavor follows with maybe a little bit of black pepper. This certainly leans more toward a Hefeweizen rather than a true Belgian / French Saison. Good.

Pours hazy bright gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet funk aromas. Soft with bananas, phenols and clove upfront turning to mild bitter earth in the lasting finish.
