Muted white, fine-pored, long-lasting froth. The first impression is as promised: caramel combined with recollections of oriental spices, such as cinnamon and the first taste is an agreeable contrast: rosy freshness with a subtle perlage.
It continues to be as elegant as it is surprising. Cinnamon, a harmonious smoky note and straw follow in subtly balanced harmony. A "gentleman among beers", the sophisticated Winkler Export reveals its tasteful sophistication both in hand-blown crystal and in a cool, earthenware stein. Original wort: 12,9º.

330 ml bottle. Golden body with a small, dense white head. Aroma is light malty with hint of caramel. Flavor feels sweet & sour with grain and some caramel. The aftertaste has some harsh bitterness. A boring but drinkable beer that feels rather fulfilling after a while.

Bottle, from trade with fonefan. It pours a clear, golden to amber body and a fingerthick, off-white head leaving some lacings. Slighlty cellary nose with pale malts and a touch of cooked vegetables. Quite fruity too. It’s sweet on the palate, medium bodied and still feeling a bit watery. The flavor is quite pleasant, a blend of malty sweetnesss and fruity hops. Could use a bit more bitterness though, even for an export beer. Sure drinkable though. 110406
