Growler bought at Kappy’s in Danvers. Pours clear deep gold into a tulip. Sickly head with no retention recedes to nothing. Sweet caramel and bourbon aromas. Thick with very little carbonation with caramel and oak upfront turning to chewy hot toffee and bourbon in the lasting finish that turns quite bitter after a couple of seconds. Tastes like a buttered caramel and bourbon dessert. Definitely a sipper....
