20cl bottle - Pours a reddish brown colour with no head. The aroma is blackberry, honey with sweet herby notes. A sweet smooth taste, honey, blackberry and light sweet herbal flavours and a some alcohol in the finish. Nice.

200ml bottle, courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Orangey-brown amber colour with slight reddish tinge, no head and aroma of honey & tart blackberry. Taste is sweet, honey, fruity berry, blackberry, peppery, booze. Syrupy mouthfeel, thick bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweet & peppery finish. Nicely sippable.

18/3/2019. Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Pours copper brown with no head. Aroma of honey, burnt caramel, toast, sweet fruits, syrup and sugary blackberry jam. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and slight tartness. Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation. A little spice develops in finish. Likeable certainly, but just preferred their ginger.

Taster at haymarket. Pours deep red. Nose is blackberry, amarena, sweet honey. Palate is juicy blackberry, some tannine, nutty finish. Very good!

200ml bottle. Pours pinky orange with no head. A bit murky. Aroma is beeswax and a little plastic. Taste is very sweet, with blackberry, honey and cough syrup. Blackberry on the aftertaste.

Dark red color. Aroma of berry juice and alcohol. Sweet flavor; the berry juice is in complete harmony with the mead, it gives some fruit flavor, light astringency, mild acidity, overall better achieved than in most similar meads; there is also a peculiar woody, almost smokey note; warming alcohol. Very good.

Bottle 200ml. w. swing top.Clear medium to dark red amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, berry, spicy. Flavor is heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berries - black berry, honey. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110325]

Bottle @ J&C, Friday session, 2011. Thanks. Pours clear amber with no head. Nose is sweet. Honey and caramel. Flavor is blackberries, alcohol, acetone and honey. Syrupy. Enjoyable mead.
