Balanced? Check! Soft dryness? Check! Popping aromatics? Check! Fresh local malt? Check! This pale ale checks all our boxes for a hoppy crusher. Strata, Galaxy and Simcoe hops contribute notes of strawberry leaf, Thai lime, and Keitt Mango. Pilsner and wheat malt keeps the base flavorful and fluffy. Drinks like an IPA, hits like a pale.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 15, 2020. Aroma is hop forward with lots of orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit and moderate dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a hazy, pale yellow straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes to clumps on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet and finishes dry with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness that lingers into the finish and light alcohol spice. Fairly strong citrus and dank, resin hop notes with lighter tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a fun pale ale. Lots of hop character and a.soft, light malt profile. Fairly dry and bitter.
