Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 16, 2020. Aroma has a moderate grain note with hints of bread. Moderate grassy, herbal hop notes with a faint spicy note. Hints of alcohol. Pours a very clear, yellow gold with a medium large, thick, frothy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a light to medium light sweetness with light grain and bread notes. Medium bitterness with a hint of alcohol spice. hints of grassy, herbal hop notes and a touch of floral esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied and a bit crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent pilsner. The hop notes are definitely more prevalent in the aroma than in the flavor and the finish is a bit crisper than other recent Temescal lagers.
