Poured from a 16 oz can dated February 3, 2020. Aroma is fruity and hop forward with lots of mango, passion fruit, tropical citrus, and pineapple with light dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. Pours a fairly hazy, dull orange color with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and a hint of alcohol spice. Quite a bit of mango, passion fruit, tropical citrus and dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer, but I like the clear, crisp west coast version that still.has nice fruity hop notes. This has a bit of a flabby malt character to it in comparison.
