Poured from a 16 oz can dated November 4, 2019. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of citrus notes of orange, tropical citrus and hints of stone fruit. Light grain notes and hints of white bread. Pours a slightly hazy, yellow gold with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderate grain notes and a bit of a bread and cracker note. Medium light bitterness with moderate hop notes. Orange, tangerine, tropical citrus and hints of stone fruit. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice hoppy lager. I like Amarillo, especially as a solo hop. The base beer supports it well.
