Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with figs, dates, raisins and prunes. Light caramel and toffee notes with hints of chocolate. Pours brown with auburn hues and a medium sized, moderately thick, dark tan head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Flavor has a medium to medium light sweetness with some caramel and toffee notes. Hints of chocolate with light bitterness and medium light acidity. Some tart cherry, raisin, prune and plum notes. Faint oak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent Flemish style sour. Good fruit and malt notes. Alcohol is well hidden and acidity is balanced.
