Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 9, 2025.
Aroma is hop forward with lots of lemon lime citrus zest as well as some orange and tangerine. Quite a bit of guava, gooseberry and lighter passion fruit. Medium light dank, oily, fusel notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol.
Pours a very clear, brilliant gold color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges.
Flavor is a bit sweet with medium light cracker malt and bread notes. Medium bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Fairly strong hop notes of grapefruit, lemon, lime and tangerine. Lighter notes of guava, passion fruit and gooseberry. Some lingering dank, oily notes in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid hoppy pilsner. Tons of hop aroma and a solid amount in the flavor as well. Bract 106 really punches up the citrus notes and works nicely with the nelson and riwaka notes. A bit of a more full bodied malt character with more of a cracker note than bready. Alcohol is well hidden. Very easy drinking.
