Bottle looks very good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts strong, malty-sweet, nice light alcoholic touch. All in all very balanced. Nice hints of caramel and chocolate. Warming finish. Very nice doppelbock!

Brown amber ith a stable cappucino head pours out of the bottle. Light nutty aroma. Full dark roasted sugar base, very well balanced, light chocolaty and coffeish notes, otangepeel retronasal. Full sweet, but not cloying and very drinkable. Danke Günther!

Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized loose beige head, slowly collapsing; moderate sweet-caramelly nose with a good nutty touch and a very delicate tinge of roasted malt; moderate sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly fruity (raisins) and sweet dark-malty finish. Not bad, but a quite simple Doppelbock...........

Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, leafy taste with light dried fruit, caramel and a whiff of milk chocolate; sweet, minimal sugary and slightly toasty finish with a light herbal hoppy bitterness and notes of alcohol.
