Draft at Jackie O’s Brewpub, 7/14/14. Pours a dark brown color. Aroma of heavy chai spice, toasted malts, chocolate. The taste is chai spice, vanilla, roasted malts, raisin, chocolate. Medium bodied. lingering spice. Nice beer.

Sample at The J Bar as part of Ohio Brew Week. Brownish-black color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and spices. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, chai tea spices and vanilla. The finish is mildly spiced with an earthy malt and vanilla aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
