Lighter bodied than most stouts and a touch more hop presence, that is the American way! With a dry finish and notes of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. THE DARK IS OUR ALLY!

Draft at Sedona, 7/3/14. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, faint fruit. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, bitter hops. Thin-medium bodied, low carbonation.

Draft: Bakers’ chocolate nose, subtle, some charcoal. Mahogany, thin head. Charred oak and dark chocolate. Medium body, but completely lacking carbonation. Elegant and well done stout. I’m not sure what was up with the carbonation, but it could have been the draft system.
