You can consume cranberries in lots of ways. We chose to have ours via beer! The “Jewel of the New Jersey Pine Barrens”, provide a tangy and tart sweetness to our award winning Tripel Horse. Chock full of more pureed cranberries than a bottle of the best cranberry juice on the market, using Tripel Horse as a base, the spiced and complex notes of this Belgian-style ale provide characteristics that pair well with tailgating and warm nights by the fire.

12 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. Number one with a bullet. Hazy, pinkish amber pour. Fluffy off-white head settles to a small creamy cap. Tangy, yeasty, phenolic malt aroma. Zesty, boozy, dryish flavor upfront. Picking up the tartness of the cranberries. Then there is that Belgiany, earthy yeast character. The 10% ABV is remarkably subdued. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy. Less sweet than the original Tripel Horse, this brew finishes dry and tangy. A nice effort.
