16 ounce can from the brewery. Number one with a bullet. Translucent cola brown color is topped by a large, frothy tan head. Spotty lacing. Earthy, toasted malt aroma has caramelly notes. Subtle toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of toffee and brown sugar. There is a hint of earthiness and nuttiness from the spelt that adds another level of flavor. Mild hops in the dry finish balance this brew nicely.
