24/9/2025. Cask at The Fat Cat, Ipswich. Good pour. Nice caramel, malty, roasted aroma. Taste is not too sweet, balanced well with roasted bitterness. Decent body, soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Eltham Wines. Nose is caramel, chocolate raisin, toffee, cocoa, cola, black treacle. Taste is very similar with a light nutty backnote. Roasty sweet & lightly bitter.

Cask @ King William IV, Nottingham. Almost black with a small off-white bubbly head. Caramel is heavy enough in both aroma and taste, subduing traditional porter taste in this respect, however it's still very appealing and quite sweet in design.
